If you have ever been on a cruise, you know how awesome they are. (I mean, I think they're pretty dang awesome). So to take a cruise to the Bahamas where you then get married, is a pretty cool idea! Captured by Elle had the pleasure of tagging along to capture Amy and Scott’s big day and I’m sure she had a blast (hello - doing what you love and getting to take a three day cruise at the same time? Heck. Yes.)!
When the ship arrived in Nassau, everyone departed the ship and took a short ride to the Greycliff Hotel. This is where the ceremony and reception took place. They said their vows on a bridge surrounded by the natural beauty of the hotel’s grounds, surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family. They spent the night eating delicious Bahamian foods and smoking hand-rolled cigars. How great is that?
The next day, Elle took the newlyweds around the ship for some more pictures including some on the desk as the sun set. How great is that?
So next time you’re thinking about getting married, take this idea into consideration. Instead of being able to spend just one day celebrating, you have three days and a cruise ship! Done and done.
Thank you Elle for submitting this beautiful wedding for us to show!
